eggs

Twice a year I make crepes for breakfast–Sunday morning of General Conference. Thanks to our laying hens, we had plenty of eggs this year. I made a triple batch.

bowlThis is how much batter I had left when the munchkins finished eating.

pansI usually use two pans. This year I used three–and I actually kept up with demand.

plateThey ate and ate and ate–until there was nothing left…

leftbut this lone crepe on my baby’s plate. Eighteen eggs later that’s it. Thank goodness for laying hens.

What a fun tradition. We have one too . . . I guess. Our home teacher brings us cinnamon rolls Sunday morning. It’s much better than my fall Saturday canning session tradition.
