Tradition

Twice a year I make crepes for breakfast–Sunday morning of General Conference. Thanks to our laying hens, we had plenty of eggs this year. I made a triple batch.
This is how much batter I had left when the munchkins finished eating.
I usually use two pans. This year I used three–and I actually kept up with demand.
They ate and ate and ate–until there was nothing left…
but this lone crepe on my baby’s plate. Eighteen eggs later that’s it. Thank goodness for laying hens.

What a fun tradition. We have one too . . . I guess. Our home teacher brings us cinnamon rolls Sunday morning. It’s much better than my fall Saturday canning session tradition.

I need that kind of a Sunday morning tradition!
