Days Like This Come and Go

Does your sink (and every available kitchen counter) ever look like this?
Or your hampers like this? I assure you my other three hampers look strikingly similar to this one.
So I’m at the keyboard trying to cough up enough intestinal fortitude to GET ‘ER DONE! But first, maybe I’ll finish that recipe for my next blog post–no sense cleaning the kitchen when I’m not finished dirtying dishes. It will all get cleaned up. Eventually. One way or another. Hopefully before everyone comes home from school.

Thanks for sharing your human-ness (is that a word?). I look up to you in so many ways that it helps to be reminded you deal — and rise above — some of the same things.
I’m here at the keyboard trying to find enough inspiration to make it through the day. Yesterday was spent doing the disappointing Christmas card, and I’m trying to decide if it’s worth another day of dishes and laundry neglect (and printing costs) to start over.
It will all get cleaned up. Eventually.

Hmmm, at least there are actually hampers under those clothes. My hampers never managed to make it upstairs again! So now I have piles of clothes straight on the floor…
