Karen, No I promise. I was good. I only got online to pay bills and balance my checkbook. I really did spend the time cleaning and doing laundry and more laundry. I actually saw the bottom of the hampers--I was wondering if they really existed. And I did go a little crazy without any creative outlets like writing and blogging. Glad to be back.

Jenni, Yes Magical Moon used to be Smiling Moon. I checked out that link and it looks like a fun store. L.L. Bean has begun sending me catalogs. I'll have to check their clearance prices.

Annika, My little boys think the mailman is so nice because he brings them books! :) Shopping in your jammies pre-shower is the best.

Not only is it MUCH nicer to be able to shop in your jammies, but when the day comes that you have a package on your step it is like Christmas!! I love shopping online, it is so much easier.

Aargh! I'm going to try this again. Samuel the lap sitter just did away with my comment.

L.L. Bean is very comparable in quality to Land's End. It's been a while since I've ordered from them, but I suspect their costumer service is still fantastic. I have noticed some discrepancies in shoe sizing: some wider, some narrower, which has turned nearly scared me from ordering future shoes anywhere online. Yet, if you find a pair from L.L. Bean that fits you well, they'll last forever. I've been wearing a pair for nine years.

I also love the Logan toy store. (Did it used to be Smiling Moon, or am I thinking of a different store?) Anyway, I've discovered a similar store near us that also sells online:

www.3littlemonkeys.com

Shoot! When I looked up the site just now to make sure it was correct, I saw that author Obert Skye was there Monday. We missed it!

Ha ha, so you take a break from blogging and spend your online time shopping instead of blogging, then when you come back you write a blog that's about ten times as long as your usual ones, and you comment on BOTH my blogs in one day.....I'd say that Kate missed her blogging during your week off!!
