Moving Cows

Lisle

Nate and Lisle saddle the horses to go find the cows.

We moved some cows from one pasture to another on Saturday. Apparently, our cows were feeling a bit social and broke through the fence to mingle with the neighbor’s cows. Once all the cows were rounded up, there was a bit of sorting to do before loading the trailer. I forgot my camera, but made use of my husband’s cell phone so you can see the separating process accomplished by my husband, brother in-law (Matt), and father in-law. No rodeos this time around. Everything went pretty smoothly.

At the end of the video Nate and Matt start moving panels in to create a chute to load the cattle into the trailer.

Oh the great cattle drive for the fall. My kids loved it in the summer. They are in bed I will have to show them the pics. Good fun work. What all kids should have.
